City Action seeks to create sustainable partnerships that provide long-term benefits to the community.

We adopt a 'stepping stone' approach enabling City firms to start at an easy to manage level and, with our support, broaden the scheme to include more challenging and longer term activities.

City Action will...

Identify... the types of support and expertise that your company can provide.

Match... the resources within a company with the requirements of a community organisation.

Introduce... the company to an appropriate community organisation.

Provide... support to both the company and the community organisation throughout the partnership.

Support & Monitor... the effectiveness of the involvement through feedback and dialogue with both parties.

Develop a Volunteering Programme... by engaging city firms in more longer term activities which provide sustainable benefits to the community organisation and corporate partner.

City Action also supports the prestigious annual Dragon Awards which recognise companies that remain committed to their community through exemplary volunteering programmes.
