Sophie Hulm
Corporate Responsibility Manager

Sophie is the Corporate Responsibility Manager at the City of London. She manages the City Action team as well as the City Procurement Project, the City of London’s own employee volunteering programme and the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards. Prior to the City of London, Sophie worked as a Project Manager for Heart of the City, a charity providing Corporate Responsibility advice to London-based businesses.

Sophie has a Masters in Corporate Social Responsibility and one day hopes to learn Spanish.

Noa Burger
Corporate Responsibility Project Manager

Noa joined the City Action team in April 2011. In her role as Project Manager, Noa especially enjoys the opportunity to communicate across different sectors, the chance to help people to develop through volunteering activities and tying together her diverse previous experience.

Prior to joining City Action, Noa conducted a number of research and profile-raising projects as an intern in the Corporate Responsibility team at City of London Corporation and with Heart of the City. She also previously managed the Corporate Responsibility programme for LCH.Clearnet, a financial services company in the City. Noa’s background is in Social Anthropology and Psychoanalysis and, before finding CSR, she worked as a teacher and editor.

Edie Fassnidge
Corporate Responsibility Project 

Manager

Edie joined City Action in May 2011 bringing experience of developing and delivering employee volunteering programmes at CSV (Community Service Volunteers) and Volunteering England. At City Action she enjoys engaging with businesses who are new to community engagement and working with them to develop mutually beneficial volunteering partnerships with community organisations. Edie is an accredited partnerships broker with the Partnership Brokers Association.

A varied early career involved teaching Humanities and Sociology, project management at the British Red Cross, and founding Music for Alice, a memorial music charity. Edie keeps busy outside of work competing in trail running races, studying Psychology and volunteering as a youth mentor and member of Disaster Action, a disaster support charity.
