THE TEAM

Carolyn Housman
Corporate Responsibility Manager

After working on global CSR and crisis communication issues at Cadbury Schweppes, Carolyn joined the City of London Corporation in January 2007 to focus on domestic responsible business practices. Originally from a land governed by The Terminator (California), Carolyn happily left behind the rugged West coast to work with leading CSR practitioners in a capital city and to help regenerate some of the most deprived (but also most dynamic) communities in the country.

In her City Action role, Carolyn specialises in building cross-sector partnerships. She has previously worked for the US and UK governments and for Amnesty International. Carolyn is a member of the National Employer-Education Partnership Task Force's Expert Group on research and sits on the Board of the School Governors One Stop Shop. She is also on the Steering Groups of the Supply Cross River project and the East London Business Place, which promote responsible procurement practices.

Carolyn can be reached on 020 7332 1563.

Davina Pilkington
Account Manager

Davina joined the City Action team in September 2008 after three years working in the third sector, starting at Student Volunteering England and then moving on to Volunteering England. During this time she organised and managed various profile raising projects and events, including collaborative activities with corporate partners.

In her role as City Action Account Manager, she particularly enjoys connecting people whose paths would not otherwise have crossed (a natural matchmaker), working across different sectors and being involved in the development of long-term partnerships.

When having a break from matchmaking, Davina gets her kicks from thrashing about on her drum kit. She's not quite ready for bookings though.

Davina can be reached on 020 7332 1753.
